Gujarati Association of Victoria proudly and religiously organised Navratri Mahotsav 2009. The event was organised at Oakleigh Recreation Centre for 3 nights 19th, 25th and 26th September. Almost 10,000 kheliyas in their traditional and colourful outfits danced their hearts off in three nights. This year Garba festival turned out to be truly a multicultural event as people from different backgrounds danced to the beats of Garba. The music was very well coordinated which stole the heart of Garba goers. The event was equally enjoyed by sponsors due to massive turnout of people during the event. The young and young at heart all had great fun. |
